Rebellion Developments
A multi-day shoot in London for bringing in many influencers and journalists in the gaming sphere to get them involved with Atomfall and promote the game to the general public. As part of the video team, we were responsible for setting up an interview room with 2 cameras (Sony FX3s): one for wide angle shots and the other with a zoom lens. We also had lav mics setup and a seperate audio recorder to provide the visitors with 32-bit float audio. We also filmed general b-roll of the event for usage in potential future videos.
We placed 7 lights total around the interview setup as the room was rather dark when we arrived. 5 lights were set up just to generally brighten the place up as well as a key and rim light on each chair. The other two lights were set up as an orange light coming from the side where we sat the Rebellion member and the other was a deep blue light to light up the curtain in the background.
As part of the three person team on the trip, my work was essential in making sure our setup was efficient and first-rate.
Responsible for all filming and lighting alongside Josh Betts. A very tough project to film due to space constraints but a very fun one. With an afternoon set aside to film, we had to make sure everything was planned thoroughly to allow enough time to move the tripods, lights and setup across several rooms. We also had lav mics for this project to make sure the audio was very high quality to edit with. The final edit for this video was handled by Hayley Rumbold.
I have filmed several other internal projects on-site but I can’t show these just yet!
